Milan - ZARZAR MODELS brings you the much anticipated Blumarine high fashion runway show as designer Anna Molinari added all the elements that made the Blumarine fashion runway show a fashion show to remember. Ruffles, full beautiful Blumarine skirts, and bandeaus were seen throughout the fashion show. "The look at Blumarine," said makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, "was that they wanted the girls to be fresh, young supermodels". They're combing the brows and adding additional eyelashes. They use a very light taupe on the eyes. The hair is really simple this season. "It's a ponytail with a little height in the back," says hair stylist Sam McKnight. "Their show is always sassy and bright colors. They just want you to have fun," says top model Karlie Kloss. 

The first part is vaguely cut outfits that recall the 1950s with mimosa prints, yellow, fuchsia, etc., according to designer Anna Molinari. There's also a surfer's section where the girls are wearing neon print shorts and jackets. There is a lot of bright and a lot of floral. In the second part, Anna Molinari says "This is a very complicated manufacturing process". It's all about flowers this season. The sandals are made with raffia. "It's so amazing, I'm in such a good mood after this," says model Kristina Romanova. "You see this and you wish it was summer all year round," says model Joan Smalls.



Blufin S.p.A is an Italian fashion house founded by Anna Molinari and her late husband Gianpaolo Tarabini. The core brand is Blumarine, which they started in 1977, followed by Miss Blumarine, which was started ten years later in 1987 and focuses on 8 to 14 year old girls, Blugirl which was started in 1995 for teenagers, and Anna Molinari which was also started in 1995, which is being repositioned as their luxury brand. Blumarine has been described as "catering for that brand of Italian miss for whom no dress is too small nor any diamond too big".

Blumarine History

Blumarine was established by Anna Molinari and Gianpaolo Tarabini in 1977 in the town of Carpi in the province of Modena. The name was inspired by the couple's favorite color and their love of the sea. In 1980 they made their first appearance at Modit in Milan, where Blumarine was named Designer of the Year, which led to their first show at Milan Fashion Week the following year. The 1986 Milan Fashion Week saw the first collection wholly designed by Anna Molinari.

As the brand took off and they started to license it to other companies, Blufin was set up in 1988 to act as a holding company. The first Blumarine boutique was opened in the Via della Spiga in Milan in 1990. The company now sells in more than 1,000 retail outlets throughout the world. A major international expansion of Blumarine boutiques is planned, particularly in the Middle East and Asia. Finally, the Anna Molinari brand, designed by her daughter Rossella since its launch in 1995, is to be repositioned as a luxury brand that is more "timeless" and less fashion led than the other brands.
